This piece was inspired by the weapon in left hand of that deamon. i saw it in a fantasy shop and was quite impressed by the idea that someone puts that barbed thing around your neck to catch you.

I love the smoke/glow, around the creature. The background is pretty amazing. The staff looks good, but maybe it's a bit to 'shiny'. Because of the glance, it doesn't fit with the background. 8/9

basw: i had to do this strong contrast on the staff, because otherwise you would hardly see the details on it. it would have blurred with the backround ... but of course you are right .

ARTOONATOR: i did not want to give him more room in the frame because of the depth of the backround.
